Membership standards

Membership Eligibility

These standards explain who may join Netthub and what is expected when participating. They support a respectful community while describing the checks the service currently provides.

Introduction and Purpose

Membership eligibility sets the basic conditions for creating and using a Netthub account. Members are expected to provide accurate information, act respectfully and use the service for genuine relationship-seeking.

Safety and Security

Account checks

A verification code is sent to the email address used to register. A mobile number is collected during profile setup, but it is not currently verified as part of registration. These checks can support account integrity, but they cannot establish every member’s identity.

Age information

Members must be at least 18 years old. Profile setup checks the date of birth supplied by the member, and Netthub may ask for supporting documents when account details require further review.

Photo moderation

Profile photos are held for review and are not made publicly available until an authorised administrator approves them. This is a photo-review process; it does not mean that every profile or identity has been manually verified.

Match Quality

Preferences and questionnaire information

Discovery and matching features use information members provide, including preferences and questionnaire responses where available. Shared answers may help identify relevant people, but they do not guarantee compatibility or a particular relationship outcome.

Community expectations

Members must follow the Terms of Use and communicate respectfully. Reported or identified misuse may be reviewed and access may be restricted or suspended where appropriate.

Relationship status

Under the current Terms of Use, members must be single or, if legally married, separated. A person who is married and not separated is not eligible to register or use the service.

Age, location and lawful access

Members must be at least 18 and legally permitted to use the service where they live. Netthub collects country and location information and currently allows countries beyond Australia; availability and suitability of services may vary by location.

Criminal and Behavioural Restrictions

Safety-related eligibility

The current registration flow does not perform a criminal-background check. Members must nevertheless be legally permitted to use the service and must not use it for unlawful, threatening, abusive or unsafe conduct.

Account action

Conduct that breaches the Terms of Use or creates a safety concern may lead to investigation, restricted access, suspension or account closure. The action taken depends on the circumstances and available information.

Applicable rules

Members are responsible for following applicable laws, the Terms of Use and Netthub’s community requirements. Netthub operates the service subject to applicable Australian law and may take reasonable steps to respond to misuse or legal obligations.

Appeals and Support

Requesting a review

Netthub does not currently provide a separate automated appeals process. If your account is paused or declined and you believe there has been an error, contact support@netthub.com with a short explanation. The support team can review the available information and may request relevant documents; response times depend on the circumstances.
