Help and FAQs

Find clear answers about joining, using and managing Netthub. Features and account access can depend on your profile status and subscription, so check the page shown in your account for current options.

Introduction and Purpose

These answers describe the current service without promising identity, compatibility or safety outcomes. Use the linked policies and support pages when you need more detail.

Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Start with your relationship preferences, email address and password. Confirm the email using the one-time code, then complete your profile with required personal and location details and at least two photographs.

Who can join Netthub?

Members must be at least 18, legally permitted to use the service where they live, and meet the relationship-status requirements described in Membership Eligibility. Registration currently accepts countries beyond Australia.

Are both email and mobile verified?

No. Registration verifies access to the supplied email address using a one-time code. A mobile number is collected during profile setup but is not currently verified. One email address cannot be used for more than one member account.

Compatibility Questionnaire

What is the compatibility questionnaire?

It is a sequence of active questions selected for the member’s relationship pathway. Responses are recorded and used to publish questionnaire results after successful completion.

How many questions are there and how long does it take?

There is no reliable fixed public number or completion time. The sequence is assembled from currently active questions that apply to the member, and configuration may change. Take the time you need to answer carefully.

Do I need to complete it?

The questionnaire is part of the onboarding journey and completion records the member’s result and completed status. If an attempt becomes inconsistent or fails, a new attempt is not silently created; support may be needed.

How are questionnaire results different from preferences and search?

Questionnaire results classify configured response patterns. Match preferences and advanced search use separate criteria supplied by members. No single higher score proves overall compatibility, and none of these tools guarantees a relationship outcome.

Profile and Verification

What does Netthub verify?

Netthub verifies access to the registration email and moderates uploaded profile photographs. Mobile collection, photo approval and profile information are separate from formal identity verification. Netthub does not conduct universal identity or criminal-background checks.

When do my photos become visible?

Profile setup requires at least two photographs. New photographs remain in private pending storage and are not publicly displayed until an authorised administrator approves them. No fixed approval time is guaranteed.

What does photo approval establish?

Approval means the photograph passed the available moderation decision for public display. It does not prove the member’s complete identity, intentions, relationship status or background.

Can I edit my profile later?

Many profile details can be edited. Selected attributes are read-only in self-service editing and require support assistance; replacement photographs return to pending review before public display.

Membership and Subscription

What plans and prices are available?

Use the Subscription page in your account for the plans, prices, currencies and checkout options currently offered to you. Published configuration can change, so this FAQ does not reproduce prices.

Which features require a subscription?

Most member routes apply an active-subscription check after profile and questionnaire completion, while selected profile, preference, dashboard and search functions remain accessible without that check. The interface indicates when a subscription is required.

How do renewal and cancellation work?

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled. Use the cancellation option provided in the Subscription area and review timing, continued access and other conditions in the Terms of Use. Logging out does not cancel a subscription.

How are payments and refunds handled?

Pay only through the checkout shown by Netthub and review the provider, amount and billing period before confirming. Refund rights and limits are governed by the Terms of Use and applicable law; invoices or receipts should not be assumed unless the checkout confirms them.

Messaging and Connections

Who can I message?

Messaging requires an authenticated, current and eligible account, and access may depend on subscription state. The recipient must be an active, completed member who is not suspended, and messaging is unavailable where either member has blocked the other. A mutual match is not asserted as a technical requirement.

Are messages guaranteed to arrive instantly?

No. Netthub provides conversation storage and synchronisation features, but network, account and service conditions can affect delivery or display. Messages are not described as continuously moderated or end-to-end encrypted.

What happens when I block someone?

Blocking prevents the affected member interaction paths, including messaging between the two accounts. Reporting is separate: use it when you want to send information about concerning conduct for administrative attention.

Video Chat

Can I use Netthub video chat now?

No. The current video-call route and notification endpoint return a temporary-unavailable response. The interface must not be treated as evidence that calling is operational, and no launch date is promised.

Are video calls monitored?

Netthub does not claim AI moderation or continuous human monitoring of video calls. Because video calling is currently unavailable, it is not an active verification or safety measure.

Safety and Reporting

How do I report or block another member?

Use the report control on the member profile to submit relevant concerns, and use block when you want to prevent further interaction. A report is recorded and an administrator is notified.

What happens after a report?

Review timing, confidentiality and outcomes depend on the circumstances and available information. A report may contribute to warnings, restrictions, suspension or account closure, but no particular response or result is guaranteed.

Where can I find safety guidance?

Read the Safety and Security guide for meeting precautions, scam warnings, privacy considerations and emergency guidance. Netthub is not an emergency service; call your local emergency number when someone is in immediate danger.

Privacy and Security

Who can see my information?

Other members can see information intended for the public profile, such as username, age and selected profile details. Contact details and full date of birth have more limited visibility. An approved photo or verified email does not mean the viewer or profile is identity verified.

Does Netthub share personal information?

Personal information may be collected, used, disclosed and retained for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, including service delivery, payment, safety and legal purposes. The previous claim that data is never shared with third parties was inaccurate.

Are messages end-to-end encrypted?

Netthub does not claim end-to-end encryption. When the site is served over HTTPS, TLS protects data in transit between the browser and service; that is different from end-to-end message encryption.

Account Removal and Deactivation

What is the difference between logout, cancellation and deletion?

Logging out ends the current session. Cancelling a subscription addresses future renewal under the applicable billing terms. Requesting account deletion flags the account for the deletion process; these actions are not interchangeable.

Can I temporarily deactivate my account?

The current member interface does not provide the previously described Settings → Account → Deactivate workflow. Contact support if you need help limiting or pausing account access.

Does requesting deletion erase everything immediately?

No. The member-facing action records a deletion request; it does not immediately erase every related record. Processing and any permitted safety, legal or dispute retention are described in the Privacy Policy. Address subscription cancellation separately before requesting deletion.

Website and Technical Help

Does Netthub have a native mobile app?

No current native iOS or Android application was identified. Netthub is a responsive website that can be used in a modern browser, but compatibility with every browser, device or assistive technology is not guaranteed.

What should I try if the website is not working?

Refresh the page, confirm your connection, try a current browser and check whether browser privacy settings or extensions are blocking required features. Avoid clearing saved information unless you understand the effect. Contact support with the page, time and error message if the problem continues.

How do I reset my password?

Choose “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page and submit the registered email address. Use the reset link sent for an active request; support should never ask you to send your password or one-time code.

Tips for Better Matches

How can I improve my profile?

Use recent, clear photographs and write an honest introduction with enough detail to start a conversation. Keep profile information current and avoid claims that could mislead another member.

How can I use matching tools well?

Answer questionnaire and preference fields thoughtfully, review search criteria when results feel too narrow, and treat matching information as a starting point. Respectful communication and compatible behaviour matter more than a score.

Contact Support

How can I contact Netthub?

Email support@netthub.com with a concise description, the relevant page and any safe screenshot that does not expose passwords or one-time codes. Response timing depends on the issue.

Is there a contact form?

Yes. Use the Contact Netthub page for support or billing enquiries. Select the relevant category and provide only the information needed to explain the issue.

What should I do in an emergency?

Netthub is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger in Australia, call 000. Elsewhere, call your local emergency number.
